Crappy game aside, every time I hear the Wombo Combo drop it kills me. I'm kinda surprised Jeff and Brad don't know the source.

I am glad this game got made, and am way into the sad air horn dirge when Jeff dies. I also never want to see this game again.

i think 420blazeit GOTY worked just cause it was so punishingly over the top, also helped it was free and i was exposed to it on a dumb GB stream. needs more dancing Snoop Dog.

I think that other game that Jeff played that was made during a game jam was better than this. This seems like junk.

What's more interesting is this is on WiiU. So, that guy that whined at Nintendo and locked himself in his room or whatever... all he had to do was wait until Nintendo had a failing platform to be accepted onto one of their systems. I guess that's the actual key to all this. I don't think this would be on the WiiU if it was doing better.

But ya, this is a dumb thing that exists. Just more proof that I'm getting old because I don't get it with this one in particular (again the other one actually was funny imo).

That looked infinitely better than this...

xXGame of the Year 420BlazeitXx or whatever was actually funny because it was competently put together (the controls actually worked), and it piled on the goofy bullshit based on how much stuff you were doing in the game. Walking down a hallway does nothing, but killing a bunch of dudes at once triggers 5 or 6 on-screen madness animations at the same time. It also had a hard end-point on it, and the format of the game fit the "illuminati confirmed" joke pretty well. Oh, and it's completely free.

Meme Run? Yeah...this game is just trash. Trash that you have to pay for.

I'm glad GB is there to bite the bullet and show me what this game looks like. That said, I can't believe this actually got put onto the eshop for sale. There are better games made in every game jam in 48 hours. I myself alone could make a better game in 48-72 hours. The meme stuff I'm indifferent about but the shittiness of this game bothers me. Power to the developers for getting it out there, I guess...

Jeff's ongoing wish for the violent downfall of society is a thing of beauty and a joy forever. Same with this game - it's either the shittest thing ever, or possibly the greatest given that it is available via Nintendo. They developers are taking the piss, they won't lose any sleep over a bunch of miserable doombrains moaning about how bad their game is - i'm pretty sure they are more than aware of that fact.

@assinass: If I remember even the devs said they went a little to far with it. But you're right, at least they created something out of the memes and some were genuinely surprising, which is good.

As someone who enjoys TF2 and CS MLG videos, I found this funny, but not over the top enough - GAME OF THE YEAR: 420 BLAZE IT did the same thing way, way better and crazier.

I love how the ending reaction to "I fell through the fucking floor!" is "Maybe it's a feature..."

I don't hate meme culture. There's some funny shit out there tucked behind the crap. The deification of Gabe Newell always makes me chuckle, for instance, as does that Snoop Dogg GIF appearing everydamnwhere. But maaaan... this is a five dollar instant headache. GOTY420BLAZEIT did it so much better.
