    Overview

Donjara (ドンジャラ, also known as Donjyara or Donjaara) is a toy tile game owned by Bandai. It is a simplified version of riichi mahjong, with a unique set of 80+ tiles and less complex rules and scoring. Most of the board game's releases since the 1980's are tied to licensed series, such as Dragon Ball Z and Kimetsu no Yaiba, with the most well-known one being Donjara Doraemon.

There are five currently-known official video game adaptations of Donjara: a Super Famicom game based on Gegege no Kitarou, a PlayStation game based on Azumanga Daioh, a DS game based on Code Geass, a PS2 game based on the Tales of series, and a 3DS game based on Osomatsu-kun. It also received a handheld electronic game in 1983, known as Computer Donjara.

There are other similar toy tile games, with the earliest one being Ponjan (which itself has one official video game adaptation). Similar video games that include this style of simplified mahjong are Doraemon no Game Boy de Asobouyo: Deluxe 10, Marl Jong!!, Kid Mix Section, Memories Off Mix, and Power Pro-Kun Pocket 10. There are also various unofficial games based on the game, some of which are eroge.
